Pygmalion was a perfect ending for a perfect day

We were visiting from the states and picked up our tickets for the evening performance of Pygmalion on May 23, 2011 at the Abbey box office. After leaving the Abbey we turned the corner onto Eden Quay and into the throngs lining the road to get a glimpse of President Obama’s motorcade. Caught up in our own excitement on our Ireland trip we completely lost sight of this historic event. Finishing our day at the Abbey for Pygmalion was a perfect ending for a perfect day.
