From a collection inherited from my uncle Paddy. He made one trip from London in the summer of 1949 and had a joyous stay with cousins (going by the letters). He had, I think, planned to move to Dublin but it wasn’t to be as he sadly passed away in early 1950 aged only 25. Grateful that his last holiday was so enjoyable and included a trip to The Abbey.
